Our Story
Villa Maria Senior Citizens Residence (run by Maria Seva Sangha) is a non-profit home for senior citizens in Bengaluru. Founded in 1981, Maria Seva Sangha works to support underprivileged people and provide quality care for the elderly. The residence is located in T.C. Palaya and offers a peaceful and comfortable environment for people aged 60 and above.
Villa Maria provides private and shared rooms with access to a garden and veranda. Residents receive nutritious home-cooked meals three times a day, along with morning and evening tea or coffee. Essential services such as housekeeping, laundry (extra charge), hot water through solar heating, and basic electrical appliance usage are available.
The home also focuses on healthcare and well-being, with a qualified nurse, medication management, health monitoring, doctor visits when required, and hospital tie-ups. Social and recreational facilities include a common dining hall, prayer room and chapel, recreation room, library, TV, garden, and walking areas. Special occasions like birthdays, Senior Citizens’ Day, and Christmas are celebrated with residents.
Additional facilities include lifts and ramps for accessibility, CCTV surveillance, 24×7 security, generator backup, and visitor parking, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for seniors.
