What is WisdomStays?
WisdomStays is an online platform that helps families across India discover senior living options—from independent homes and assisted living to memory care and palliative centres. With clear info, photos, and support, we make the search easier and more confident. Currently it covers only the Stay-in facilities and Day care centres. We will soon launch the ‘Services’ section.
How does WisdomStays help me choose the right facility?
Our portal lists a wide variety of eldercare Stay-in options throughout the country. You can filter by location, care type and budget.
Is using WisdomStays free?
Absolutely! Families and seniors can use all features—search, explore listings, compare facilities—at no cost.
What types of eldercare facilities are listed?
We feature a range of senior living services including:
- Independent Living
- Assisted Living
- Dementia & Alzheimer’s care
- Short-term Respite Stays
- Daycare & Activity Centres
- Palliative & End-of-Life Care
Every listing provides key details—services, pricing, amenities—to help you make an informed choice.
How do you ensure listing information is accurate?
The information about the facilities is provided by the facilities themselves. Only the facilities, where there is a tickmark next to their names, are visited by our representatives. Though we strive to verify each listing, it is difficult, considering the sheer number of such facilities and remote locations such facilities are located across India. We encourage them to update listings regularly. You can also report issues—so we can fix them fast.
Can I contact a facility directly from the site?
Yes. Most listings include phone numbers, email IDs, or contact forms so you can get in touch with the facility team directly. We’re just the matchmaker—no middlemen involved! Just in case you are not able to reach out to a certain facility, do let us know. We will try from our end too.
Are all facilities verified by WisdomStays?
Not yet. Many listings are based on self-submitted information. Facilities with a ✅ badge have been visited or verified by our team. We’re working on verifying more homes—one city at a time.
Do you help with bookings or paperwork?
Currently, WisdomStays is a discovery-only platform. You can shortlist and contact facilities, but we don’t manage bookings or admissions. Some facilities may offer virtual or physical tours—please ask them directly.
What if I can’t find a facility in my city?
We’re adding new listings every week! If you don’t find what you’re looking for, drop us a message—we might be able to suggest something or fast-track a listing in your area.
Can I suggest a facility to be listed?
Absolutely! Whether you know of a good eldercare facility or run one yourself, just head to the “List a Facility” page and share the details. We’ll take it from there.
Is this platform only for stay-in facilities?
For now, yes. We focus on places where elders spend days, weeks, or months—like old-age homes, assisted living, or memory care units. We also have a few Daycare centres where elders spend considerable time of their day.
Homecare, OPD services, and other elder services will be added soon.
How can I support facilities doing good work?
We’re building a donations platform to connect kind-hearted donors with credible, under-resourced facilities. Verified listings will have a donation option soon—with full transparency. However, you are free to visit conduct your due diligence yourself if you wish to donate to them in cash or kind. You may share your experience with us – just for our information.
Is WisdomStays affiliated with any government body or private facility?
No. WisdomStays is an independent initiative with no ties to any government, religious, or private institution. We are neutral and exist solely to make eldercare easier to find and choose.
