Our Story
Swami Shraddhanand was a spiritual leader having his spiritual roots to Ganeshpuri, was based in Vasai towards end of 20th century.
Dr. D S Saksena who is a renowned Cardiac Surgeon of Bombay Hospital, was inspired by the philosophy of Swamiji, who instructed Dr. Saksena to start a hospital in Vasai.
In 2007, a palliative care and assisted living ward was started. Since 2015, Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute a project of Shri Chaitanya Health & Care Trust, took over the operations of the hospital in association with Bombay Medical Aid Foundation.
In 2024, facility was extended and renovated to make 30 beds for the palliative care and assisted living.
