The founder, Late Shri Narayanan Hariharan Iyer, established the Sringeri home around 25 years ago with the blessings of the Mahasannidhanam of Sharadha Peetam, Pujya Shri Bharathi Teertha Swamigal, who performed the Bhoomi Poojan and inaugurated the first Ashram in Sringeri.
