Our Story
Sneha Sagar Society was founded in 1999 in an urban area on the outskirts of Mumbai and was officially registered on March 31, 2001. Established by Sr. Martha Mandal, the organization was driven by her vision to uplift underprivileged communities.
The initiative began with providing free education to children living in slums and offering training programs to help women become economically independent. Over time, the society expanded its work to support the poor and needy through education, as well as rehabilitation for socially disadvantaged children, orphans, and destitute women.
In addition, women are provided with non-formal education in areas such as childcare, family welfare, health, hygiene, and human rights, empowering them to lead more independent and dignified lives.
