Our Story
Founded in 2003 by Vasant Smruti Trust, with the wholehearted support of Kishangopal Rajpuria Vanprasthashram and family, our Ashram was created with a single mission: to provide elders with a secure, peaceful, and caring environment in the golden years of their lives.
We are a community-owned, non-profit organisation that believes senior citizens deserve not just care, but also dignity, companionship, and joy. For us, aged care goes beyond providing a roof—it’s about creating a nurturing space where elders can live with self-respect, engage in meaningful activities, and enjoy the serenity they deserve after a lifetime of giving.
The Ashram is located on 14 acres of lush greenery near the Gorai seashore, offering a unique blend of fresh sea breeze, natural surroundings, and clean air—an atmosphere that heals both body and mind. With gardens, open spaces, and a nature-rich environment, our setting itself becomes part of the therapy for residents.
We currently offer different types of accommodation to suit varied needs and preferences, housing over 135 senior citizens. Whether one seeks simplicity or more personalized facilities, every option is designed to make residents feel at home, safe, and cared for.
Life at Rajpuria Vanprasth Ashram is built on the principles of compassion, respect, and community living. Over the years, we have become not just a place to stay, but a place where elders rediscover friendships, engage in spiritual and recreational activities, and experience the warmth of a true extended family.
