Our Story
Johns Daycare and Boarding for Senior Citizens Association, an NGO, began its journey in the year 2000 with a humble start in a single room, driven by the vision of providing personalized and compassionate care to the elderly. Over the years, we have grown steadily and developed suitable infrastructure to cater to the individualized needs of many more seniors. Today, with twenty-five well-equipped rooms, a medical room for emergency treatment, a reception area, dining room, and a small garden, we are able to offer both daycare and boarding services in a safe and homely environment. Our dedicated care staff ensures special attention to the nutritional, emotional, and psychological needs of every resident.
Our Senior Citizens Home supports elders suffering from age-related conditions such as Dementia, Alzheimer’s, semi-paralysis, being bedridden, blindness, deafness, and other physical challenges. We strive to make their lives comfortable and joyful by providing newspapers, magazines, and cable television in each room. We celebrate birthdays, organize short outings, and fulfill their simple wishes like feeding birds or cows, as these small gestures bring immense happiness and emotional comfort.
Our core focus is to remain deeply rooted in matters related to ageing. We actively facilitate and promote programs, projects, and services that advocate for the rights, dignity, and well-being of senior citizens. We aim to build a society where people are encouraged and empowered to age productively, gracefully, and with self-respect.
We provide a safe, clean, and peaceful living space with a balanced environment where elders can live with dignity and security. Special care is taken to prevent disease and disability, maintain good mental and physical health, and encourage active engagement in life. Through our continuous efforts, we remain committed to addressing the challenges faced by senior citizens.
