Our Story
Providing Compassionate Care and Dignity to Abandoned Seniors
Founded in 2001 by Ugraiah C., Gandhi Old Age Home is a registered voluntary organisation operating under the Gandhi Education Society. It is officially registered with the Department of Welfare of the Physically Handicapped and Senior Citizens, Government of Karnataka.
As a fully donor-supported organisation, we depend entirely on financial contributions and in-kind support from generous individuals and well-wishers.
We currently care for 100 abandoned senior citizens — 50 men and 50 women — all aged 50 years and above. Our mission is to provide them with a safe home, nutritious meals, medical attention, and compassionate care, ensuring they live with dignity, comfort, and respect.
