Our Story
Ashraya was established in 2008 by the Dr. A. V. Baliga Charitable Trust, Mumbai, an organization known for its long-standing commitment to socially impactful initiatives across Mumbai and coastal Karnataka. The trust and its associated institutions continue to reflect the values and vision of Late Dr. A. V. Baliga in all their endeavors.
Ashraya is not a standalone entity; its effective functioning is supported by a network of sister organizations along with a dedicated team of staff. Healthcare needs of the residents are well taken care of by Dr. A. V. Baliga Memorial Hospital in Udupi and Kamal A. Baliga Rural Medical Center in Haradi. Together, a committed group of individuals and organizations work tirelessly to ensure that Ashraya remains a nurturing and dependable place for senior living.
