Our Story
Late Shri Keshavlal R. Shah, the visionary founder trustee of the Ashram, recognized the need for a dignified and secure living space where senior citizens could live together with care and companionship throughout their lives. With this noble vision, he brought on board Shri Chandravadan Shantilal Shah, the present President, and laid the foundation of the Ashram in 1982.
Shri Arvindbhai Kothari, a civil engineer from Nadiad, extended his valuable support in executing the construction work. Despite severe financial constraints in the initial phase, Shri Keshavlal’s unwavering determination and strong resolve turned the concept into reality.
The Ashram began modestly, housing only five to seven residents and with barely 10% of the construction completed. Over time, as societal awareness grew and the demand for such a facility increased, the Ashram expanded steadily. Continuous development was undertaken to bring the Ashram to its present stature, equipped with modern facilities and amenities aligned with evolving lifestyles and the changing needs of senior citizens.
