Amar Jyoti Foundation, established in 1988, is dedicated to promoting sustainable and integrated human development while reducing human suffering and improving social well-being, especially for the poor, helpless, and weaker sections of society.
The organization encourages the values of friendship and fraternity, supports education, and nurtures strong moral principles among individuals. It actively works to uplift the status of women and focuses on mother and child healthcare.
Mar Jyoti Foundation is involved in rural development, campaigns against dowry practices and the exploitation of girls and women, and provides basic education to children from underprivileged communities. It also supports drug de-addiction and rehabilitation programs, works for the welfare of senior citizens, offers family counseling, and provides vocational training for youth. In addition, the foundation creates awareness about HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis prevention.
