Our Story
Established in 2005, Adharwad Old Age Home stands as a beacon of hope for the elderly and the underprivileged. It operates under the banner of Adharwad Niradhar & Apang Mahila Utkarsh Trust (Reg. No. E/3968/Thane) and proudly holds the ISO 9001:2015 certification, a mark of its commitment to quality care.
At the heart of the trust’s mission lies the operation of a residential assisted care facility for elderly individuals of both genders who are homeless, facing health challenges, or in need of emotional support.
Beyond eldercare, the trust also works towards the rehabilitation and empowerment of divorced and unsupported women, offering them training, counseling, and employment opportunities to rebuild their lives with dignity and financial independence.
Visionary Leadership
Guiding this noble initiative is Mrs. Sangeeta Rajendra Bhagwat, a devoted social worker and the founder of the trust. With years of experience in social service and a deep sensitivity to the struggles faced by senior citizens, she has dedicated her life to ensuring that the elderly are cared for with respect, compassion, and specialized attention—especially those who are bedridden or suffering from chronic illnesses.
