Our Story
Maratha Life Foundation (MLF) was founded by Mr. Kisan Mallari Lokhande, a retired Army Officer who served with dedication and participated as a support personnel during the Vijay Kargil War. Inspired by his parents’ lifelong dream — to continue serving the nation even after military service — Mr. Lokhande established MLF to provide care and support to those in need.
With the unwavering encouragement of his 104-year-old mother, Smt. Vanchlabai Lokhande, who continues to manage the ashram with remarkable strength and compassion, MLF has become a beacon of hope for many.
The foundation welcomes orphaned, parentless, and helpless individuals from all regions. If you come across anyone in need, you can contact us directly or visit the nearest police station to facilitate their admission to our care.
At MLF, people from all castes and communities live together in harmony. Our commitment is simple — to provide dignity, love, and support without discrimination. Every service we offer is provided completely free of cost, ensuring that care is accessible to those who need it most.
Registered with the Government of India, Maratha Life Foundation stands as a testament to selfless service, respect for humanity, and unwavering dedication to uplifting the vulnerable.
