Our Story
An overwhelming mix of excitement and nervousness is what I remember feeling when I founded Wishes and Blessings in April 2014. It was a heartfelt decision—one that meant stepping away from a successful career and facing raised eyebrows from those around me. Yet, it marked the beginning of turning a long-cherished childhood dream into reality.
Wishes and Blessings was created as a platform to connect donors with those in need, with the goal of spreading happiness and fulfilling wishes. The idea was simple: while many people carry unfulfilled dreams, others are fortunate enough to help make those dreams come true—and in doing so, receive blessings in return. That’s how the name Wishes and Blessings came to life.
We began our journey by supporting visually impaired children, and gradually expanded our reach to include orphanages, old age homes, and shelters for the homeless. Today, our work transcends age, gender, and socio-economic barriers, addressing nine critical areas such as education, food, health, and overall well-being.
The journey has been deeply fulfilling. While there have been moments of disappointment, challenges, and frustration, the joy reflected in countless smiles and heartfelt blessings has made every step worthwhile.
