Our Story
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) at Santhome Church is a volunteer-led organization committed to serving the poor and marginalized through compassionate, person-to-person outreach. Founded in 2013, the group works to provide both immediate assistance—such as food, financial aid, and medical support—as well as long-term solutions like education, employment guidance, and small business support.
Volunteers regularly connect with the community through home visits, offering not only essential resources but also emotional care and companionship, particularly for the sick and elderly. Initiatives like the “Adopt-a-Family” program and food distribution drives help ensure continuous support for those in need.
Beyond being a charitable group, SSVP at Santhome represents a supportive and caring community that promotes dignity, instills hope, and strengthens human connections among the people it serves.
