Our Story
Guanella Preethi Nivas, located in Geddalahalli, Bangalore–77, is a charitable institution operated under the registered society The Guanellian Society (No. 121/87). The organization is dedicated to supporting underprivileged and vulnerable individuals, particularly the elderly and orphaned children.
In the Geddalahalli–Hennur region, the institution carries out several charitable initiatives, including Don Guanella Home for the Destitute, Guanella Oratory for Children, Guanella Youth, Guanella Tuition Centre, and Open House Ministry for the Elderly.
Since 2007, the Don Guanella Home for Destitute Men has provided shelter to abandoned individuals who have no one to care for them. Currently, the home accommodates around 60 elderly residents, offering them housing, nutritious meals, and essential medical care. The organization is also planning to expand its capacity in the near future to support more residents. These services are sustained with the generous support and small contributions from people in the surrounding community.
