Our Story
Jeevan Sahara Charitable Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needy, with special care and attention for bedridden, aged, and frail senior citizens. The emblem of the Trust symbolizes life’s “sea of difficulties,” represented by waves, and a helping hand that offers support, hope, love, and compassion—guiding individuals toward a brighter tomorrow.
We understand that some senior citizens are unable to afford even the basic fees for care. In such cases, the Trust extends financial support to ensure they receive the dignity, comfort, and assistance they deserve. Our mission is to create a warm, homely environment for all residents, complemented by regular medical check-ups to safeguard their health and well-being.
The old age home is strategically located near reputed hospitals such as Swami Shraddhanand Hospital and Cardinal Gracious Memorial Hospital, ensuring prompt access to medical care when required.
Jeevan Sahara Old Age Home is a 100-bed facility, housed in five spacious bungalow-style structures. Nestled amidst the lush green surroundings of Bhuigaon village in Vasai Taluka, the home offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Situated just half a kilometer from the Arabian Sea coastline, residents benefit from fresh sea breezes and a refreshing environment throughout the year.
The facility accommodates both male and female senior citizens, with separate sections designated for men and women to ensure comfort and privacy. The home is equipped with spacious bathrooms featuring hot and cold water supply, hand showers, and support fixtures for ease of use.
For safety and convenience, the entire premises and surrounding areas are monitored through CCTV surveillance. A Nurse Call System is installed to provide immediate assistance when needed. Each spacious room is furnished with a semi-Fowler bed with railings, an overbed table, a cupboard, and a personal drawer to ensure comfort and convenience for every resident.
