Our Story
Kamaldham Old Age Home and Kalyankari Sanstha, established in 2001, is a registered charitable trust founded by Mrs. Purnima Kabre, former President of Ambernath Municipal Corporation, along with her husband Mr. Sudhir Kabre and dedicated members. The ashram currently cares for 50 residents—men, women, and couples—offering them a secure, loving, and dignified environment.
Located in the peaceful, green surroundings of Ambernath, Kamaldham features a walking track, recreational hall, medical support, and special care for bedridden residents attended by trained Aiyas.
Life at Kamaldham is filled with joy and togetherness. Residents celebrate all major festivals with enthusiasm—Diwali, Dussehra, Yoga Day, birthdays, and talent shows—keeping the festive spirit alive year-round.
Generous support from the Rotary Club of Bombay has helped develop key facilities, including a renovated kitchen and dining area, a new water system, and four rooms for bedridden residents.
At Kamaldham Vrudh Ashram, we strive to make every elder feel at home—with care, comfort, and companionship.
